Growing up on a dairy farm makes Tom Tiffany a natural fit for his district in northern Wisconsin, where the rural environment provides abundant farmland and agriculture is the major employer. As a member of the House Natural Resources Committee, Tiffany has established energy independence, protecting the rights of hunters, and trying to ensure that “Wisconsin wildlife conservation decisions stay in Wisconsin” as his key priorities. Tiffany worked in southern Minnesota for about seven years, managing a petroleum division of a farm cooperative. He and his wife ran a river boat excursion business for about 20 years on the Willow Flowage, a large reservoir in northern Wisconsin where Tiffany serves as a dam-tender.
