Common Ground Scorecard for Tom O’Halleran
U.S. House
Tom O’Halleran (AZ-1 - D)
A former Chicago cop, bond trader, and state legislator, Democrat Tom O’Halleran can be a bit of a heretic when it comes to partisan politics. After O’Halleran and his wife retired to Arizona, he became active in community issues and was elected to the Arizona House in 2000 as a Republican. In 2014, he decided to run again for the state Senate, this time as an independent. O’Halleran focuses on issues of importance to rural Arizona and Native Americans.
