Common Ground Scorecard for Tim Walberg
U.S. House
Tim Walberg (MI-5 - R)
Tim Walberg, a Harley-riding former minister and self-described Christian conservative, keeps a relatively low profile on Capitol Hill. On major issues, the congressman from southern Michigan has been a reliable Republican vote and an equally reliable critic of President Joe Biden. Before entering politics, Walberg was pastor of two churches and his involvement in the anti-abortion cause brought him to the state capital to lobby on the issue. From there he was encouraged to run for the state House.
