Tamika Hamilton served for over 14 years in the United States Air Force. She deployed twice to the Middle East and was awarded the Air Force Achievement Medal, Joint Service Accommodation Medal, Air Force Meritorious Unit Award, and Air Force Good Conduct Medal. Hamilton is currently a reservist stationed out of Travis Air Force Base. Her work with homeless veterans is what motivated her to take a stand for her community and run for Congress.
