Common Ground Scorecard for Scott Perry
U.S. House
Scott Perry (PA-10 - R)
At a time when stout conservatism is the norm among House Republicans, Scott Perry still stands out for his stalwart support of President Donald Trump and for his unequivocal embrace of the beliefs and values of the most conservative wing of his party. He is a member of the Freedom Caucus, a group of lawmakers who have been the bane of GOP leaders for their unwillingness to compromise on conservative principles. After high school, he joined the National Guard and became a helicopter pilot. Perry co-founded a mechanical contracting firm in 1993. Nine years later he was accused of falsifying reports to the state Department of Environmental Protection about a sewage treatment plant.
