Common Ground Scorecard for Randy Weber
U.S. House
Randy Weber (TX-14 - R)
Randy Weber owns a small air-conditioning business, and he’s not afraid to turn up the heat on opponents of his conservative principles. The third-generation Texan has lived within the same 20-mile radius all his life, an area with beaches and rodeos that he’s described as “a salt of the earth community” and “Texas tough.” Weber, whose tenure in Congress has been largely defined by climate change denial, has used his leadership position on the House Science, Space, and Technology Energy Subcommittee in the 117th Congress to turn the focus to nuclear energy.
