Nan Whaley served on the Dayton City Commission and was elected mayor in 2013. During her tenure, she has tackled the opioid crisis and taken on a broken education system, providing quality pre-k to every three- and four-year-old in the city. As Governor, Whaley’s priorities would include protecting Ohio’s natural resources, investing in clean energy jobs and Appalachian communities, and defending abortion rights.
