Common Ground Scorecard for Mike Quigley
U.S. House
Mike Quigley (IL-5 - D)
A student of the wheeling-and-dealing world of Chicago politics since first working as an alderman’s aide in the 1980s, Mike Quigley’s district includes much of the North Side neighborhoods that he first represented in local government. Quigley, a social liberal and fiscal moderate, has expressed frustration with a lack of bipartisanship in Washington, especially after the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the Capitol. He has been an adjunct professor of political science at Loyola University Chicago and Roosevelt University, lecturing on politics, the environment and local government.
