Lizzie Fletcher’s priorities include diversifying Houston’s energy economy and upgrading infrastructure to better prepare communities for weather-related disasters. Fletcher started her legal career in Houston at international law firm Vinson & Elkins. After a few years there, she then joined the high-stakes business litigation firm Ahmad, Zavitsanos, Anaipakos, Alavi & Mensing (AZA). In addition to becoming the AZA’s first female partner in 2015, she was recognized as one of the best lawyers in America for commercial litigation by the peer-reviewed publication Best Lawyers.
