As the son of a U.S. Representative, Governor Larry Hogan was exposed to politics at a young age. He ran unsuccessfully for office and worked in the private sector until serving as Maryland’s State Secretary of Appointments from 2003-2007. As Governor, Hogan’s priorities include: eliminating regulations, rebuilding infrastructure, improving education, creating a more business-friendly future for Maryland, and protecting the state’s most precious natural asset: the Chesapeake Bay.
