Kathy Salvi began her career as a judicial clerk to the Honorable Justice Harry D. Strouse of the Second Appellate District, Illinois. She then become an Assistant Public Defender with the Lake County Public Defender’s Office. In 1987 Salvi entered private practice and currently serves as a partner at the law firm of Salvi & Maher. She believes that the policies of those currently in power have failed children in the classroom, have made communities less safe, and have resulted in business closures due to costly and unnecessary regulation. If elected, Salvi will work to bring back faith in the government, restore public trust, and reinstate civility to public service.
