Common Ground Scorecard for Kamala Harris
President/VP
Kamala Harris (CA - D)
Kamala Harris is the Vice President of the United States of America. She was elected Vice President after a lifetime of public service, having been elected District Attorney of San Francisco, California Attorney General, and United States Senator. Harris is the first woman, the first Black American, and the first South Asian American to be elected Vice President, as was the case with other offices she has held. Though Harris is on the left of the U.S. political spectrum, she’s reached across the ideological divide to collaborate with some of the Senate’s most conservative Republicans.
