John Rose (TN-6 - R)
A farmer, law school graduate and former businessman, John Rose came to Washington saying he would represent the fiscally and socially conservative values of Tennessee. He has also made it a priority to look out for the agricultural interests of his state. Rose co-founded Transcender Corp., an IT certification training company. He also served as president of Boson Software LLC, a Nashville-based IT training company. Then-Republican Gov. Don Sundquist appointed Rose as agriculture commissioner in 2002.
