Jason Martin is doctor and business owner who came to Tennessee for a residency at Vanderbilt University. He was Chief Resident at the Nashville Veteran Affairs Medical Center before joining Meharry Medical College and Nashville General Hospital. After twelve rural hospitals closed in Tennessee, Dr. Martin led the fight for healthcare in rural communities. He believes that “the values uniting Tennesseans are more powerful than the politics that seek to divide us.”
