Jamie Raskin’s experience as a constitutional law professor has left the rising congressional star well prepared for his role as a sought-after legal mind in the House Democratic caucus. Raskin, who rose in the ranks quickly during his first two terms in Congress, served as lead manager during the second impeachment of President Donald Trump alongside his former student Stacey Plaskett (D-Virgin Islands). Raskin has taught constitutional law at American University’s Washington College of Law for the last 25 years and has also taught at Yale Law School.
