Common Ground Scorecard for James Comer
U.S. House
James Comer (KY-1 - R)
James Comer has experienced something of a fast track in the House. The Kentucky Republican joined Congress a smidge early when he replaced Ed Whitfield in a special election, and he got the edge to lead Republicans on the House Oversight and Reform Committee when Mark Meadows left Congress for the Trump administration. Comer earned an agriculture degree from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green and was president of the Kentucky chapter of Future Farmers of America.
