Citing the prevalence of anti-Semitic remarks on social media, Jake Auchincloss joined fellow Democrats in pressing President Joe Biden to do more to combat hate speech and actions. After graduating from Harvard University in 2010, Auchincloss enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps, serving active duty until 2015 before joining the Individual Ready Reserve, of which he is still a part. He also worked at a cybersecurity startup and at insurance firm Liberty Mutual Group. In 2016 he earned an MBA from the Sloan School of Business at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
