Jackie Gordon is a veteran, an educator, a public servant, and a community leader. She was born in Jamaica, West Indies, and grew up in Queens, NY. Gordon spent 29 years in the Armed Forces, retiring with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel in 2014. She also has over three decades of experience working in New York public schools as a guidance counselor. From 2007 to 2020, Gordon served on the Babylon Town Council, where she worked to direct resources to veterans and military families.
