Compare

[Retiring at end of current term.] Fred Keller grew up poor and worked in a factory right out of high school before becoming a businessman and state legislator. He often says he’s lived the “American Dream” and that others can too under a federal government that’s “responsive to you, not defining you.” During his successful 2019 special-election campaign in Pennsylvania’s 12th District, he said that “the government should be like a referee in a game” by “making sure everybody plays by the rules. They shouldn’t be picking winners and losers.”
