U.S. House
David Scott (GA-13 - D)
David Scott became the first Black chairman of the Agriculture Committee in the 117th Congress, pledging to work with Republicans in a time of national divisiveness and to focus on climate change, food security, and broadband internet access. With Scott representing a suburban district, he’s set to lead a committee that has lately taken aim at bridging rural-urban divides. After earning an MBA, Scott moved to Atlanta and soon became active in local politics. While serving in the state House, he and his wife opened Dayn-Mark Advertising.
