Common Ground Scorecard for Chuck Fleischmann
U.S. House
Chuck Fleischmann (TN-3 - R)
Chuck Fleischmann was among the huge class of Republicans who first won their seats in the GOP wave of 2010, with hopes of rolling back the Affordable Care Act, cutting the federal budget deficit and, in his case, one day becoming the chairman of the House Appropriations Committee. He was among the House Republicans who voted to object during the electoral certification of the 2020 presidential election. After law school, Fleischmann and his wife, Brenda, settled in Chattanooga, where they opened their own personal injury and worker’s compensation law firm, Fleischmann and Fleischmann. Fleischmann served as president of the Chattanooga Bar Association and hosted a radio show offering free legal advice for almost a decade.
