Common Ground Scorecard for Brian Fitzpatrick
U.S. House
Brian Fitzpatrick (PA-1 - R)
Combating corruption and terrorism are priorities that have followed Brian Fitzpatrick from the FBI to the House, where he’s an independent-minded Republican seeking bipartisanship in what he’s called a “Hatfield and McCoy environment” of smash-mouth politics. In April 2021, Fitzpatrick became a co-chair of the Problem Solvers Caucus, a bloc of bipartisan-minded House members evenly divided between the two parties. Fitzpatrick has said the caucus is the “only thing that’s going to save our country.” Brian Fitzpatrick earned his bachelor’s degree from LaSalle University before obtaining an MBA and a law degree from Penn State. He clerked for a federal judge before joining the FBI.
