Common Ground Scorecard for Andy Biggs
U.S. House
Andy Biggs (AZ-5 - R)
Andy Biggs rapidly ascended Congress’ conservative ranks: He became chair of the House Freedom Caucus — a bloc of rebellious conservatives and libertarians — in only his third year in Washington. The close ally of Donald Trump was quick to defend some of his actions in his final year as president, using fiery rhetoric to describe the Black Lives Matter protests and what Biggs called election fraud. He framed the 2020 election as a choice between Trump and a “Marxist leftist authoritarian type of regime.”
