Dan Matthews is a decorated Air Force Veteran and retired commercial airlines pilot. He is a member of the Heritage Foundation and the Cousteau Society and supports charitable organizations such as Domestic Violence Services, Housing Hope, The Nature Conservancy, The Alliance Defending Freedom, the American Center for Law and Justice, Pregnancy Resource Centers, the Union Gospel Mission, the Washington Policy Center, and the NRA (life member).
