Karina Lipsman is a refugee immigrant from Soviet-Ukraine who became an American citizen at age 18. Following a 14 year career in the defense and intelligence communities, she decided to run for Congress. Lipsman believes we must work together to overcome partisan gridlock; we will not make progress as a country if we immediately dismiss ideas simply because they come from the other side. If elected, she will work to bring civility back into politics and communities.
