Max Della Pia (NY-23 - D)
Max Della Pia is an Air Force veteran who retired as a Colonel after 30+ years of service, before being granted a Brevet Promotion to Brigadier General. He was awarded the Legion of Merit, the Bronze Star, and the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award. Della Pia has practiced law as a defense attorney, owned his own practice, and worked in the US Senate as a Brookings Fellow/Military Legislative Assistant on Senator Carl Levin’s personal staff. After retiring from the military in 2008, he worked for Lockheed Martin Corporation as a Business Development Analyst Senior Staff. Della Pia is currently Chair of the Tioga County Democratic Committee and a member of the Democratic Rural Conference (DRC) Board.
