Kirsten Engel held positions at the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency before she joined the Arizona state house and senate. Specializing in environmental and administrative law, Engel taught at Tulane, Harvard and now at the University of Arizona, where she serves as Co-Director of the Environmental Law Program. As a legislator, Engel has fought attempts to cut education and worked to fully-fund public schools and universities. She’s also fought for stronger workforce development, along with technical education programs.
