Pam Genant is a registered nurse, a fierce crusader for people’s rights, and a passionate advocate in suicide prevention. She joined the U.S. Army in 1991 and worked as a nurse at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, during Operation Desert Storm. Genant served three years in active-duty and more than four years in the reserves. In the pivotal 2016 election year, she became active in the Burke County Democratic Party.
