Iro Omere is a career educator. She began at PVAMU as a Financial Aid Counselor and quickly worked her way up to Program Coordinator at the University of Houston. During the 2012 teacher shortage in Texas, Omere stepped away from her role in Higher Education to teach STEM at inner-city schools. If elected, Omere would focus on education, climate action, justice reform, infrastructure, immigration reform, national security, and responsible gun laws.
