Common Ground Scorecard for Michael Cloud
U.S. House
Michael Cloud (TX-27 - R)
Michael Cloud describes himself as a “constitutional conservative,” and his committee work and communications with the Biden administration reflect that philosophy. He blames the Washington, D.C. culture for what he sees as overreach. After graduating in 1997, Cloud moved to Victoria, Texas, to become the media and marketing director of the Faith Family Church, which his family attends. In 2008, he formed a marketing, advertising, and media production company. In 2010, Cloud was elected chairman of the Victoria County Republican Party and held the post for about seven years.
