Jody Hice (GA-10 - R)
[Defeated in primary for Georgia Secretary of State in 2022.] Jody Hice, a former Southern Baptist minister and conservative radio talk-show host, says he would prefer a government with fewer top-down edicts one that recognizes Judeo-Christian values as primary to its mission. Hice has repeatedly introduced bills that could end legal abortion by declaring that life begins at fertilization. He has also been among the top co-sponsors of legislation that would permit organizations to make some political statements without risking tax-exempt status.
