Common Ground Scorecard for Greg Steube
U.S. House
Greg Steube (FL-17 - R)
Since his election to Florida’s 17th District in 2018, Greg Steube has been a vocal advocate for the agricultural and arms industries — a platform that has won him favor among his heavily conservative, Republican constituency. On top of that, Steube, who served during the Iraq War, has also been active on veteran’s issues. While Steube has expressed conservative views about immigration, he has tempered them in the past with his district’s need for seasonal workers in the agriculture industry. Steube lobbied the state legislature on agricultural issues before earning his law degree and joining the U.S. Army JAG Corps.
