Common Ground Scorecard for Adrian Smith
U.S. House
Adrian Smith (NE-3 - R)
At the start of the 117th Congress, Adrian Smith was reappointed as the top Republican on the House Ways and Means Committee’s Select Revenue Subcommittee. Because the population of Nebraska’s 3rd District is continuing to shrink, magnifying the need to be able to export the agricultural products from the district, Smith is a supporter of the US-Mexico-Canada trade deal negotiated during the Trump Administration. Entering politics through the Gering city council at the age of 23, he also worked as a real estate agent.
