Sean Patrick Maloney (NY-18 - D)
Sean Patrick Maloney is New York’s first openly gay member of Congress. Maloney backs more traditionally Democratic positions on issues such as abortion rights, immigration, and the environment. Maloney worked as an attorney in private practive before joining Bill Clinton’s campaign. He then went on to work for John Podesta, Clinton’s chief of staff. After leaving government, Maloney worked as chief operating officer at Kiodex, which specialized in commodity trading and risk management.
