Bob Casey Jr. (PA - D)
Bob Casey is one of the Senate’s dedicated defenders of programs that aid the most vulnerable Americans, including children living in or near poverty, the elderly and people with disabilities. Casey returned to Scranton after earning his law degree in 1988 and began to practice law. He became the state’s auditor general in 1997 and unsuccessfully ran for governor in 2002. Casey was elected as state treasurer in 2004 and then jumped into the 2006 Senate race.
