Common Ground Scorecard for Jim Himes
U.S. House
Jim Himes (CT-4 - D)
A former Goldman Sachs investment banker, Jim Himes has the reputation for being more friendly toward business interests than many of his Democratic colleagues. On the Financial Services Committee, Himes has been willing to jettison parts of the Dodd-Frank Act, the legislation passed in the wake of the 2008 financial crisis. But he also has sided with committee Democrats, accusing the Trump administration of loosening regulations that protect consumers.
