Common Ground Scorecard for Dan Sullivan
U.S. Senate
Dan Sullivan (AK - R)
Dan Sullivan has fought to rein in what he views as the federal bureaucracy’s overreach in the lives and rights of Alaskans and the state’s vast natural resources. He was a colonel in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and served as Alaska’s state attorney general. As a native of the Lower 48, Sullivan had to overcome complaints that he didn’t truly understand Alaska issues. He was aided by his wife Julie’s Athabaskan family roots.
